Animal Senses
Animal Senses supports perception, tracking or navigation with a limited bonus to two checks. It can help an expedition read the landscape more carefully and notice clues that would otherwise remain uncertain. The name does not mean gaining every sensory ability of any chosen animal, or automatically learning a place's entire history from a single glance.
The bonus applies only to the stated activities and to AGI or INT checks. It does not increase every check using these attributes, or any attacks. The party should know what it wants to find and which two attempts matter. The outcome still depends on the check, so the spell helps an investigation without automatically providing every answer it needs.
Exact effect: The target gains +2 to up to two AGI or INT checks related to senses, tracks or navigation. Bonus: +2 to two checks. Target: caster or 1 willing creature within reach. Duration: 1 scene. Limit: bonus only applies to perception, tracking or navigation. Use requires at least INT 8 and Level 2, the appropriate spellcasting ability and knowledge of this spell. Meeting the numerical requirements alone does not grant knowledge of the spell.
