Undead Servant
Undead Servant arises from a small pile of bones or motionless remains and helps with simple tasks. Its appearance can strongly influence the atmosphere of a scene and the reactions of people nearby. Under the rules, however, it is help that cannot attack rather than another combatant. It cannot speak and must not automatically be given unlisted special abilities of its own.
It can fetch, hold, open, or guard according to a simple command and carries a limited load. Clear instructions and the surroundings matter. Its use is rare, it lasts one scene, and only one servant can exist. Its presence can raise questions and tension in the story but does not itself provide answers about the remains' past or an unlimited obedient army.
Exact effect: Creates a skeletal servant that cannot attack. It carries up to 20 kg and follows simple commands such as fetch, hold, open, or guard; it cannot fight or speak. Target: one small pile of bones or motionless remains. Duration: 1 scene. Restrictions: once per adventure; at most 1 servant. Using it requires at least Intelligence 10 and Level 5, the appropriate casting ability, and knowledge of this spell. Meeting the numerical requirements alone does not grant knowledge of the spell.
