Rewrite Reality

Rewrite Reality briefly transforms a nonmagical inanimate object into another ordinary nonmagical object of the same or smaller size. It can offer a creative solution to an obstacle, but its scope is precise. It does not allow unrestricted creation of life, artefacts or wealth. The name describes an exceptional magical moment, rather than a right to change any fact without further boundaries.

A suitable original target and a plan for the ten-minute duration are needed. The spell cannot create money or an exact copy of a unique key. Its single use per adventure gives the decision considerable weight. The party should consider how to use the temporarily transformed object and what to do when the effect ends, rather than relying on a permanent solution.

Exact effect: For 10 minutes, transforms the target into another ordinary nonmagical object of the same or smaller size. It cannot create a living being, an artefact, money or an exact copy of a unique key. Target: 1 nonmagical inanimate object no larger than a wagon. Duration: 10 minutes. Limit: once per adventure; requires knowledge of the spell. Use requires at least INT 18 and Level 25, the appropriate spellcasting ability and knowledge of this spell. Meeting the numerical requirements alone does not grant knowledge of the spell.

Meeting requirements is not enough

Min. INT and Min. Level only allow a spell to be learned. The character must actually acquire it through leveling, a teacher, a book, a scroll, a reward, a discovery, or the story.
