See Spirits
See Spirits allows the caster to perceive spirits that are present and traces of spiritual energy. It can open a new layer of investigation in a place that appears empty at first glance. Seeing does not mean understanding everything that happened there. The spell offers neither automatic knowledge of the past nor the ability to command beings the hero can now recognize.
In a story, it can be a first step toward a conversation, tracing the origin of a sign, or cautious observation. A recognized spirit may not be willing to cooperate, and the caster may not understand it. The duration of one scene allows room for exploration but does not replace other abilities. The party still needs to connect the new information with what it already knows about the place.
Exact effect: The caster sees spirits that are present and traces of spiritual energy. Does not automatically allow understanding or controlling them. Target: caster. Duration: 1 scene. Restrictions: once per scene. Using it requires at least Intelligence 6, the appropriate casting ability, and knowledge of this spell. Meeting the numerical requirements alone does not grant knowledge of the spell.
