Blessing

Blessing supports one chosen check by an ally with a small, specific bonus. In a story, it can be a brief encouragement before an important attempt, an expression of trust, or part of the party's shared preparation. Its strength does not lie in an unlimited change of fate. The hero still needs a suitable plan and must know which check they actually want to support.

The use of the bonus must be announced before resolution, rather than after a failure. The benefit remains available only for a limited time and does not stack. One use per target per scene encourages a sensible choice of moment. Blessing is not a general increase to every attribute or an extra bonus to every attack throughout the entire encounter.

Exact effect: The target gains +1 to one chosen check. Its use must be announced before the check is resolved. Bonus: +1 to one check. Target: 1 ally within reach. Duration: until used, at most 1 scene. Restrictions: once per target per scene; the bonus does not stack. Using it requires at least Intelligence 6, the appropriate casting ability, and knowledge of this spell. Meeting the numerical requirements alone does not grant knowledge of the spell.

Meeting requirements is not enough

Min. INT and Min. Level only allow a spell to be learned. The character must actually acquire it through leveling, a teacher, a book, a scroll, a reward, a discovery, or the story.
