Fairy – Ranger

A fairy ranger may explore overgrown trails, help lost travelers, and investigate changes in places close to the community. Agility supports exploration, while low strength limits heavier protection and equipment. This combination suits a character who seeks connections in nature and helps the whole group travel safely. Personal curiosity can lead to an expedition just as readily as the duty to protect a home.

Within the party, the ranger helps plan routes, follow usable tracks, and recognize changes in the landscape. Before entering a dangerous place, the character can investigate approaches, cover, and ways back. Tracking does not reveal every creature's identity or intentions; the information needs to be combined with other clues. The ranger is therefore useful when rescuing a missing person, finding water, and deciding when the group should stop.

The racial ability Fairy Dust makes every healing performed by the fairy restore one extra HP. The class adds Tracker: automatically determine the direction in which a sought person or animal departed, provided usable tracks exist. Choose starting equipment according to the requirements this particular hero meets. The listed values form the basis of a level-one character; personality, name, relationships, and the reason for adventuring are decided during character creation.
