Pilgrim's Leather Armor
Pilgrim's Leather Armor is based on ordinary leather armor and adds a magical increase to its protection. It may accompany a traveler who values flexible equipment and frequently stays beyond the safety of cities. Old repairs and signs of travel can provide details for the story without changing the defense value listed in the rules.
It is useful for a hero who meets the strength requirement. Preserve the calculation order: first the leather armor's base value and its coefficient, then the additional bonus. The appearance of light traveling equipment does not mean automatic protection against weather, poison, or magic. In the story, its known origins may be more valuable than its ornamentation, particularly if a missing guide once wore it.
It uses the "Body" slot and the base item is "leather armor". The listed bonus is an additional +1 PDEF. Apply the coefficient to the leather armor's base value, then add +1 PDEF. Requirement: STR4. Its catalog value is 25 gp. Follow the calculation and conditions of the bonus exactly; its origins in the story alone grant no additional abilities.
