Small drum

A small drum carries a rhythm that can accompany a song, dance, or march. Its simple appearance does not mean a simple performance: a skilled player can work with tempo, silence, and the audience's expectations. In Elaria, it may belong to a street performer, traveling storyteller, or member of a festive procession without needing a special magical origin.

It fits group music and scenes where the party contributes to a celebration or earns a chance to share its own story. A rhythm can serve as an agreed signal if it can be heard, but the catalog grants it no separate combat bonus. When deciding to use it, the heroes' willingness to attract attention also matters.

Rules effect: +1 CHA during a musical performance. The price is 1 gp. The item is reusable rather than a single-use supply. Its listed effect applies to the situation it is intended for. Additional bonuses, other forms of protection, and new magical abilities are not part of this entry.
