Coin pouch

A coin pouch is a simple place to keep coins and small personal possessions. In Elaria, it may be an ordinary purchase, a homemade item, or a memento of someone who helped the hero before their first journey. A mark on its fastening or unusual contents can create a small clue whose significance becomes clear later.

It keeps small items organized, but grants neither unlimited space nor automatic protection against loss. Finding a pouch offers a scene centered on deciding whom it belongs to and whether to return it. The item itself improves neither bargaining nor luck. A message, unfamiliar coin, or personal keepsake the party discovers inside may matter more.

Rules effect: Carrying coins and small items. The price is 1 sp. The item is reusable rather than a single-use supply. Its listed effect applies to the situation it is intended for. Additional bonuses, other forms of protection, and new magical abilities are not part of this entry.
